You know, I woke up to Kura yelling at me to go visit POT Minutes at the forum. So I did, and you know what I found? I found that these bunch of forumers have got to be the sweetest people ever. Seriously, to plan something like this?

HAPPY FORUM ANNIVERSARY. 8DD In honour of this special day, Slacky and Kyokawhohasdisappeared have organised this event thingy, and they have roped me in to do ... everything else. x_x
So, basically, here's what happened~:
On , Slacky pulled me into a convo with Kyoka, informing me about the basic outlines of our event. We went ahead to discuss who to rope in, and who to do what, etc. :D
We got the forumers to reply us through a mass-network of PMs and stuff about whether they wanted to participate, and if they did, they had to submit their top two mod choice (and the optional beta). :DD From there, we sorted them into groups based on mod choice and... boom. :D
Of course I won't ramble on about this (you'll all brick me for being longwinded and stuff) XD . Anyways, we managed to pull through loads of messes and @_@'ing and stuff and WE HOPE YOU MODS LIKE IT. :DD

I mean, I knew they were planning something secret, but I wasn't expecting them to plan something for the mods. It was such a surprise that when I looked at the post, my mind was blank for a few seconds before I got this huge grin on my face.

Here is the profile where the fics were posted under. Thanks to all the people on there (especially ezyls_girl , gellychan , doroniasobi, HaveYouNoMercy, mysteriously.mesmerized, Crysalice Bell, crassreine, and arizaki_shisaku-- if you have an LJ, and i didn't link it here, sorry!), and even if you didn't write for me, since I'm sure the other mods are also just has happy about this as I am. EVERYONE. Rea needs book recs from you. Ones with the rogues-thieve-fantasy-swordsmen-nobles feel to them. Like the Gentle Bastard or the Nightrunner series or Swordpoint (or like, George in Tamora Pierce's books, but I haven't read those in like, ever XD). You know what I mean? And I like really slashy stuff, but it's fine as long as I get my supply of handsome rogues (MEN, MEN >D I'm a desperate whore, hokay? Who likes to imgine the main character and his MALE companion getting it on, though I suppose they being a real couple is even better. Nightrunner, anyone? XDDDD But I don't want a really explicit book, if you get what I mean? I get enough of that from fanfics that I want something that focuses more on characters and plot, but the gay romance/sexual tension is still there) with witty dialogue and awesome characters. Oh, and dirty humor. 8D

But let me make it clear: I am not a big fan of first person perspective books, m'kay? There are only a few works that I like reading in first person, so the book would have to be really good in first person for me to read it.

AM I MAKING SENSE?! D: I'm so picky. I was goint to try reading Scarlet and the White Wolf (or something like that o0), but I couldn't find it anywhere. Not at library, not at Borders (got a 'no results' when I searched it online), and stupid Barnes & Nobles doesn't have the local store locator thing for this book. T_______________T

For some reason, I don't find any interest in Mercedes Lackey's books form the snippets and except I have read of it. Does anyone who has read the series want to offer a review or two? I meant the Last-Herald or something like that series. XD

I think I'm drifting towards a new fandom, though it won't last. XD There aren't enough fanfics for me to stay. XDDDD

Amazon recently passed a new policy that they are de-ranking all adult books. While this does not particularly bother me, the fact that the focus seems to falling mostly on LGBT books and products is severely unsettling. Products such as Playboy, or romance books with explicit heterosexual romance, or explicit graphic novels are not included in this, but books that have homosexual content are all removed. Since when did "adult" become synonymous to "homosexuality"? What fucking kind of reasoning is this? Seriously, they're business people. Are they not supposed to be the uncaring greedy bastards who monger for money and will push away all divisions of society and culture to further their money and business? Oh, bloody hell, American business industry. Ridiculous. How far will you fall?

WHAT THE FUCK. I hope they crash and burn in hell. They might as well just kill the site AND STILL BURN. What the fuck is this nonsense?
